SoluCel (Espoo, Finland), founded in April 2006, is a joint venture of VTT (Technical Research Centre of Finland) and VIB (Belgium), two world-renowned life sciences organizations. The foundation of SoluCel was the result of a long-standing collaboration between VTT and VIB in the field of small molecules (secondary metabolites) from plants.
